Donation Appreciated Very Much!

SMS gratefully accepted a generous donation from Bikers are Buddies yesterday. Bikers are Buddies Canada is a federally registered not-for-profit organization to raise awareness and empower the community to stand up against bullying through youth education, community outreach and fundraising.

The Local President and a fundraising team member from the Bikers Are Buddies Shuswap Awareness Group arrived at SMS to present a donation of $200! These funds will be used, starting in September, to augment our efforts to feed hungry children at SMS. Each day we work to ensure students who need food are supported in an open and friendly manner so that they are better able to focus on learning, collaborative activities, and positive friendships. We appreciate this kind support very much.
