SMS was fortunate to host the Work BC Find Your Fit event May 5 & 6 for grade 7 & 8 students. Students visited the career activity stations where they took part in a hands-on activity related to a specific career. The activities are designed to help students find out their interests and strengths. Students then went to a labour market information station where they looked deeper into a specific career. Some examples of the activity stations included an air pilot, physiotherapist, early childhood educator and electrical technologists/engineers and more.
