In Respectful Remembrance – Flags at Half Mast Until Further Notice

In light of the news last week regarding the mass grave found in Kamloops, and in support of all Residential School survivors and in remembrance of those that didn’t survive, their families, and the greater community, school flags will fly at half mast until further notice.

In addition, there is strong interest in holding a school-wide Orange Shirt Day this week. As soon as we confirm the date, I will be emailing families so that SMS families will have an opportunity to plan to participate.
