Parent Connect – Tricky Time Right Now

Some parents are having a tricky time getting into the “Parent Connect” to complete all the permission forms done. Cinnamon, our contact person here in the office, would like parents to know that she is keeping track of all parents who would like some help with “Parent Connect” access.
She will be calling each one of you. The correction process involves a few steps at her end so she will get these completed ASAP. This is happening because we have 2 computer systems interfacing the information as we transition over to the new one. In the meantime, please know that we will not worry if you can’t submit the forms later next week.We appreciate your patience, for sure!

Air Quality Update

Today, we offered a few choices for students at lunch. At risk students, with respiratory ailments, or students with personal concerns with being outside during the 20 minutes of free time, were offered the opportunity to report to the office. If the student came to the main office, I personally supervised the students as they remained inside, physically spaced, and masked. In addition, we invited some classes into the gym to play volleyball with our PE teachers and within their cohorts. The air quality index is still high. However, it has improved to the point where we followed the expert advice for all students and staff, by rescheduling strenuous activities and limiting the exposure to the smoke by closing the doors and windows to allow the building filtration system work at maximum capacity. In addition, students in the portables had access to the building without worrying about being locked out.
The website available for everyone to track air quality can be found at this link.
