Mountain Bike Provincials – WOW!

Well Done Team!

Our grade 8 Mountain Bike Team had a very successful day of racing at this year’s Provincial Championships which were hosted by Salmon Arm.  We had seven riders compete and brought home four medals!  In the Boys’ Grade 8 Cross Country event, Jacob Hepburn placed first and Lucas Sherman placed third in a field of over 40 riders.  On the girls’ side, Ella Mills place second in both the Cross Country and Enduro events.  Ella had a bike malfunction near the end of the race and actually ran her bike across the finish line!  our SAS Jackson/Sullivan team won the overall team award and were crowned Provincial Champions.  Way to go Salmon Arm!  Thanks for all your work with the team Mrs. Limber and Mr. Rodwell!
