Shuswap Middle School, along with School District No.83 will be observing National Day of Mourning on April 28th by lowering our flags to half-mast today.
This day honours the memory of workers who have been killed, injured, or suffered illness as a result of work-related incidents. In 2019, 140 workers died from a workplace injury or disease.
