New addition to hot lunch offerings

Hello Parents, Students and Staff,

Shuswap Food Action is excited to offer a hot lunch program on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We will have two free “try it” days on Tuesday, September 21 and Thursday, Sept. 23, where students can sample food. To help students get their food as quickly as possible, we are using an online ordering system.  
Register at https://sfas.ahotlunch.ca/p/register and see the menu until winter break, as well as pre-order and pay online. Your school code is SMS. Menus will close two days before the meal day at 9 pm (ie. You have until Sunday at 9 pm to order for Tuesday’s lunch). If you have an iPhone, you can use Hotlunch.com’s iOS App from https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/hotlunch-school-software/id1451511654?mt=8. The Domain name is sfas.

We try to accommodate some student diet preferences and most entrees can be made vegetarian and we also are offering a “glutino” gluten-free bun option for our Eggers for an extra dollar. Meals range from $3-5, and we try to source from local farmers whenever possible. If you are experiencing financial hardship, please contact your school admin. If you prefer not to use online payment gateways, you can write a cheque to Shuswap Food Action Society, and a credit can be uploaded to your account.
