Reminder to order for Tues, Wed, Thurs, Fri Hot Lunches for the 2025/2026 school year

Mrs. Hoffort’s legendary homemade Mac & Cheese and Quesadillas are on sale each Monday ($ 4 each, cash only, no pre-orders).

Shuswap Food Action is excited to offer a tasty hot lunch program again this year on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. The best way to order is online at https://www.munchalunch.com/schools/shuswapmiddle/ , as this ensures your child will get lunch. This is a new platform for 2025-2026 so all users will need to register. Orders can be made as of Sept. 7, 2025 and the first day of lunch will be Tuesday Sept 16. There will be a limited number of cash options available each day for those who can’t get online. Subsidies available for families experiencing financial hardship. Gentle reminder about our deadline for meal orders and cancelation policy: 

1) Ordering closes three days before the meal service date. This is to ensure that we have enough time to collect fresh ingredients from our local farmers/stores and give our dedicated cooks ample time to prepare the delicious and nutritious meals for our students.   

2) If you need to cancel an order, you must do so before 9am on the order date in order to receive credit. You can do so by emailing orders@shuswapfood.ca
