Grade 7 and 8 Volleyball was in full flight here at SMS Wednesday evening. I felt very lucky to be able to drop in to the gym to see everyone having such a good time! Students enjoyed playing a series of action-packed games against each other. The rallies were strong, the serves were fast, and school spirit was shown in all the cheering, laughter, and smiles. Thank you to all the students and the parents who came out to enjoy the games. It was heart-warming to hear the appreciation expressed by the athletes to the coaches, who give their time to this important healthy living and learning experience! Well done SMS Phoenixes!
