It is a busy week with WE Day, zone finals for our talented volleyball teams and grade 8 basketball ramping up.  Grade 6/7 basketball will begin the week of December 9th.

Monday, November 18th

• Open Gym 7:00 am
• Library open before and after school
• Library open for grade 8 students at lunch
• Litterless Lunch contest continues all week
• D&D club in room 123 at lunch
• Art room open at 7:30 am and at lunch for project and sketchbook work
• Sewing room open at lunch
• Leadership students leaving for WE Day in Vancouver at 2:00
• Grade 8 girls’ volleyball Zone Championships at SMS 5:00
• Grade 8 boys’ volleyball competing in Zone Championships at Kalamalka Secondary

Tuesday, November 19th

• Grade 8 girls’ basketball practice 7:00 am
• Leadership students at WE Day Vancouver – returning approximately 9:00 pm
• Library open before school and after school
• Library open for grade 6&7 students at lunch
• Art room open at 7:30 am and at lunch for project and sketchbook work
• Sewing room open at lunch
• Indigenous boys’ group at lunch in Indigenous Ed room
• Magic Club in room 124 at lunch
• Pinterest Club for grade 8s at lunch in room 121
• Grade 7 boys and girls’ volleyball practice 2:30-4:00
• Wrestling 2:30-4:00 for interested students (see Mr. Lazar for more info)

Wednesday, November 20th

• Library open for grade 8 students at lunch
• Grade 8 boys’ basketball practice 7:00 am
• Library open before school and after school
• School Wide Litter Free Lunch Day
• Soup Hut open ($2 for soup, $1 for bannock)
• Grade 6 boys and girls’ volleyball practice 2:30-4:00

Thursday, November 21st

• Art room open at 7:30 am and at lunch for project and sketchbook work
• Library open before school and after schoo
• Indigenous girls’ group today at lunch
• Grade 8 girls’ basketball practice 7:00-8:10 am
• Sewing room open at lunch
• Pinterest Club for grade 8s at lunch in room 121
• Chess club at lunch in the library (all grades welcome)
• GSA in room 214 at lunch
• Grade 6/7 boys and girls’ volleyball (in-house games) 2:30-4:30
• Grade 8 boys’ basketball practice 4:30-6:00
• Open study block in room 122 at lunch

Friday, November 22nd
